Communication and play

In the first few years of your baby’s life, they’ll be learning and developing every day from the world around them and the experiences they have. This is especially true for their language and communication development. Long before your little one is able to speak recognisable words, they’ll be developing their understanding of spoken language and how to communicate, along with important skills like listening and paying attention. As a parent you play a very special role in helping your baby to develop these skills.
